Can\u2019t make a career change in this market, too old or too inexperienced to move or get promoted, you can\u2019t possibly admit to making a mistake and change university course.\u00a0 Ask yourself what evidence you actually have of this.<\/p>\n<p>Adjust your plan if necessary \u2013 maybe you\u2019ve tested the \u2018evidence\u2019 and actually making a huge career leap in this climate is too risky at the moment.\u00a0 So what smaller steps can you take in the meantime to move towards your goal? Maybe it\u2019s a less dramatic career change, or learning a new skill or gaining a new qualification so you\u2019ll be able to hit the ground running when the time comes.\u00a0 Career change or development is very often not about a one time huge leap, but about taking small steps to get you to where you want to be.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that anything can happen \u2013 Why? Because the game isn\u2019t over yet.
