"Caroline has been supporting me develop an L&D plan for my Careers Guidance business.  She has helped me ascertain my aims with training and developing my associate staff.  She has put together a series of activities that will not only help us concretely identify the skills and knowledge standards we want the team to develop, but also, CPD activities that will help us achieve the standards.

Caroline has a unique perspective understanding and considering all aspects of what it takes to get buy-in from both staff and senior leadership, so everyone can work together with the same motivation and effort.  She is available for quick chats when I have needed to bounce off ideas, and her background in coaching and careers guidance means she is supportive and proactive when considering business development challenges.

I would highly recommend Caroline."

The world of work is always changing and it can be hard to keep up and bridge that gap between the education sector with other professions. But I can help you succeed in reaching career success and satisfaction for you and the young people you support.  During my professional life, I have been used as an example of best practice by the NfER (National Federation for Educational Research) and have been a finalist for the national Career Champion Award, and was one of the first ever National Careers Week Ambassadors.  I have worked in and with a variety of schools, from some of the top Grammar schools to state schools in the top 10% of the country, with Ofsted ratings including 'Good' and 'Outstanding'.

As well as all my professional experience, I have a wealth of credentials including diplomas in Level 6 Career Guidance & Development (OCR), Career Coaching (Oxford Learning) and the Certificate of Coaching and Mentoring (ILM, accredited by the EMCC - European Mentoring & Coaching Council), as well as the Level 5 diploma in Learning and Development (CIPD).  I am also a licensed practitioner for Myers Briggs (MBTI) and have a full DBS check (children and adults) and signed up to the online checking service.

"Caroline is an inspiration to the girls at the school with her energy and positive approach. She has given them advice and practical experience to help them make the right decisions about their future. She has developed some innovative careers education events. I saw them grow over the years both in content and range of local businesses that she engaged. It was a great personal pleasure for me to be a regular volunteer working with her and the girls at the school at the careers days she organised."

Kate (Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and employer volunteer, Buckinghamshire)

As a business, you rely on the quality of the provision of your advisers.  It matters to you, the schools you sell your service to and the young people you support.  You need a pool of talented advisers, who you feel confident meet your standards, in order to meet the demand for work.

I know how hard it can be to keep up to date with knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment, and training others can be challenging too.  But where reputation is everything, it can take only one poor guidance session to tarnish your company's image (and sales) for good.

I know you are busy and probably working with associates, not Full-Time employees.  So, I have designed some simple solutions, to help you map, train, and develop your talent pool, that won’t require a huge time or cash investment.  I can help you move from being frustrated and worried about not fulfilling orders, to confidently focusing on your strategic plans, knowing you have a strong talent pool to support the operational work.

"Having worked with Caroline several times when participating in various Facilitating events in the Reading area, such as Oxbridge Interview Skills, I thoroughly recommend her to any organisation as she was supportive, professional and friendly at all times. It was a pleasure spending time on the event and Caroline's support was a key factor in making it so.''

Ian (employer volunteer, Verizon, Reading)

“ I am much clearer on the wider opportunities that exist within the careers advice sector and how I might be able to access them."

Jane (Career Coaching Client, Surrey)

Being self-employed can make accessing CPD (continuing professional development) incredibly challenging.  The world of careers is changing quickly and so it’s more important than ever, to keep up to date with your knowledge and skills, in order to deliver high quality careers guidance.  Without these, finding work for you, and supporting young people with the right help, is impossible.  We have to get this right, especially when you consider that how successful these young people will be in the future, will determine the skills economy and success of us all.  We've all heard examples of poor quality guidance sessions and we owe it to the profession to break the stereotypes and show careers guidance as the engaging, inspiring and modern practice it really should be.

As Advisers, we’re in this together, always learning.  I can provide you with the information and skills you need, whether you’re just starting out in this wonderful sector, or a seasoned pro who wants to keep up to date.  We talk a lot about supporting students by providing LMI, but we need to remember that an understanding of this for ourselves, is also important.

Through one to one coaching and guidance, as well as group training, you'll feel confident in your CPD plan and have that CPD quality mark of having invested in your own development, with which to impress future 'employers'.  I can take you away from anxiety over your knowledge, skills and ability.  Instead, you’ll be confident in securing, and delivering on, high quality careers contract work, even in such a tough market.  This will not only support the young people with which you work, but provide a steady stream of revenue for you as well.

You got into teaching to teach.  With ever increasing pressures on your time, taking on another area, outside of your specialism, is a challenge.  And when you want to help the young people in your care, achieve the best possible results, to lead to the futures they dream of, that’s one pressure too many.

But with the knowledge that Ofsted can be just one phone call away, understanding and meeting every Gatsby benchmark has never been so important for you, for the school, and for the students.

I understand the time and budget pressures you’re under, so I will design cost effective solutions which help you review and meet the Gatsby benchmarks and achieve your statutory duty on CEIAG (Careers Education, Information and Guidance).  I can guide you from putting a positive Ofsted rating under threat, to achieving a highly successful CEIAG programme.

"Caroline assisted my daughter during her UCAS application and the advice, knowledge and expertise given helped her gain 5 university offers. Caroline continued to support her when it came to making her 1st and 2nd choices and we were delighted when her A level results secured her first choice of Exeter University. In fact, Caroline was the first person I called to tell her our news! I cannot recommend Caroline enough, in fact so much, my daughter has now approached her to help with her next personal statement for her Masters application at Oxford University.

Caroline, you are amazing, thank you!"

Jane (private client, parent from Maidenhead)

"Caroline worked with me when I was applying for Universities and considering career path options. She is extremely well connected in her field and has an in depth understanding of not only how to pick the right University for you but also how to navigate the complicated UCAS application process. Her naturally calm and reassuring style encouraged me to have scary but honest conversations with her, supporting me to make tough decisions. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would not be where I am today without Caroline's support.”

Niamh (Senior Consultant, Ernst Young)

“Thank you for your help with student X, he was on the path to full time exclusion but following your careers session, has now turned things around as he can see a plan for this future and how to get there”.
