This privacy policy notice is served by The Talent Cycle, Wokingham, Berkshire under the website; www.thetalentcycle.co.uk.  The purpose of this policy is to explain to you how we control, process, handle and protect your personal information through the business and while you browse or use this website. The data we gather:

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you e.g your email address, name, home or work address and telephone number for one of the following reasons and you have therefore given your consent to provide us with this data:

  • You have made an enquiry to us.

  • You have made an information request to us.

  • You wish to attend, or have attended, an event such as a training course or an online activity.

  • We also use analytical and statistical tools that monitor details of your visits to our website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data (but this data will not identify you personally).

If you attend any of our events, we may take pictures during this which may be used on our website and across all our social media platforms.  If you object to this, you need to inform us in writing ahead of the event and alert us on the day so that we know who you are.

Some of our activities take place online, for example coaching via Skype.  This is for the purpose of interacting with you and will not be recorded. 

The way we use your data:

We may hold and process personal data that you provide to us in accordance with the DPA and GDPR.

The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our services to you, and to meet our contractual commitments to you. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

To notify you about any changes to our website, such as improvements or service/product changes, that may affect our service;

If you are an existing customer, we may contact you with information about goods and services similar to those that were the subject of a previous sale to you;

Where you have consented to receive such information, to provide information on other parties’ products or services that we feel may be of interest to you;

How long we store your data for:

Third Parties:

We will not share your information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.

We may use data processors who are third parties who provide elements of services for us. We have contracts in place with our data processors. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They will hold it securely and retain it for the period we instruct. 

In some circumstances we are legally obliged to share information. In any scenario, we’ll satisfy ourselves that we have a lawful basis on which to share the information and document our decision making and satisfy ourselves we have a legal basis on which to share the information.
